Private Voice and/or Piano Instructor

Boyce Music Studio is seeking a passionate and dependable Piano and Voice Teacher to join our studio! This role is ideal for someone who thrives working with young learners and is looking for a flexible, part-time teaching opportunity with consistent student referrals and full marketing support.

Compensation:

$35/hour Job Responsibilities Provide weekly 30-minute private piano lessons to students of all ages. Organize each lesson so that it aligns with each student's level, learning style, and musical goals. Offer positive, constructive feedback to support the development of proper technique, theory knowledge, and musical expression. Keep students engaged and inspired through creative, age-appropriate teaching methods. Coordinate scheduling directly with students/families and manage your own teaching calendar. Maintain professionalism and strong communication with students and parents. Stay current on best practices in music education and piano/vocal pedagogy. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Music (completed or in-progress from an accredited college/university) or equivalent certification in music education. Must have an up-to-date background check approved prior to onboarding. Available to teach after-school weekday hours (typically 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM). Weekend availability is optional. Friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about teaching children — especially beginner and early-intermediate students. Contractor Details This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Teachers are responsible for their own taxes. Nina Boyce Music Studio will handle all marketing, student placement, and studio policies and administrative work. Nina Boyce will provide continued mentorship and educational guidance to teachers. Nina Boyce Studio will be in charge of selecting all music books/materials and supplies. Nina Boyce Music Studio will handle all studio/family communications and performance opportunities. Teachers will be paid $30/hr for instruction time Teachers are responsible for maintaining regular attendance, communication, and rescheduling makeups as needed.
