Music PURPOSE Instructs classes in instrumental music so that students develop individual and group skills in instrumental technique and music reading. Stephens Middle School seeks a dynamic specialist in orchestral strings to serve as director for the Stephens orchestra program, with additional duties in the elementary beginning strings program for the area. This is a one-year, temporary, full-time appointment. Responsibilities include the artistic and instructional design for a program consisting of three leveled middle school orchestra and the elementary beginner program, including recording of progress, communication with families, collaboration with colleagues and administrators, and planning for performances.
