Play Patrol Company is hiring Music Enrichment Instructors to both support existing instructors and lead their own classes at our client locations. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children, enjoys collaborating with a team, and is confident stepping into a lead teaching role when needed. About the role Music Enrichment Instructors work directly in preschools and early learning centers, assisting lead instructors during classes and independently leading classes at assigned locations. Classes focus on singing, movement, rhythm, and instrument play, all delivered in a fun, developmentally appropriate way. This is a flexible but consistent part-time position that requires a minimum availability of three weekday mornings. What you will do Assist lead instructors during music classes at client locations Lead your own music classes using Play Patrol's curriculum Engage children ages birth through 5 with singing, movement, and instruments Support classroom flow, transitions, and positive behavior Maintain a warm, professional presence with children and school staff Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to support or lead as scheduled Who we are looking for Experience working with young children in education, music, childcare, or performance Comfortable singing and leading group activities Able to take direction and also step confidently into a lead teaching role Positive, dependable, and professional Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations Guitar/ukulele and singing experience is required Availability requirement Minimum availability of three weekday mornings Typical hours are mornings and early afternoons Consistent weekly scheduling Pay and probation period Thirty day probation period paid at $25 per hour After successful completion of probation, pay increases to $32 to $40 per hour, contingent on qualifications, skills, and performance Why work with Play Patrol Curriculum and training are provided, no lesson planning required Supportive team environment with room to grow Meaningful work that positively impacts children and schools A fun, rewarding role for educators, musicians, and performers who love working with kids How to apply Send a brief introduction and a summary of your relevant experience, especially any work with children, music, or group instruction.
