Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and valid teacher certification in Music (required) Background in general education and music instruction preferred Previous elementary classroom experience strongly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management abilities Ability to design engaging, standards-based music lessons spanning various instruments and vocal techniques Dedication to fostering an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for all students
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and implement innovative music curriculum for elementary grades Teach general music classes, introducing students to instruments, vocal performance, rhythm, and music theory Coordinate and lead school performances, concerts, and other special music events Integrate music into broader educational themes and collaborate with fellow educators Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed Maintain clear communication with parents and staff regarding student development Create a classroom environment where students feel valued, engaged, and enthusiastic about music This is a fantastic new opening for the 2026/2027 academic year and interviews are being scheduled now.
