Music Instructor

Please be able to teach Acoustic/Electric Guitar and Drum sufficiently, with one being your main instrument. Bass would be a plus.

Job Details:

Lesson Planning:

Create engaging/inviting lessons for all ages and levels.

Patience and Understanding:

Capable of working with all ages and skill levels.

Event Participation:

Attend most recitals/events, usually held on Saturdays.

Makeup Lessons, Rescheduled Lessons, Cancellations:

Must provide a notice at least 24-hours in advance. All makeup lessons will be arranged based on your availability. If needed, the owner can handle client communication. Same-day notices due to emergencies will not be held against an instructor.

To Start:

Monday -

Wednesday:

4:00 - 6:00 pm. (3:00 pm start available)

Thursdays:

4:00 to 8:00 pm. (3:00 pm start available) Fridays and Saturdays as needed for Makeup lessons 5th day(s) of a month will be used for make-up lessons or time off.

Requirements:

No formal Education, but 1 year of private lesson experience (accepted) Music Ed. University Students (preferred) Resume, with references (if possible) Recommendation Letter (if no resume) Bachelor's & Higher with an emphasis on your main instrument (preferred) Bachelor's & Higher + State-Certified (preferred) Pay Rate $40/hour to start. $45 after the instructor reaches 15 hours per week.
