Guitar Teacher Agape Music Academy Cedar Park, TX Job Details Contract $25 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Flexible schedule Qualifications English Teaching arts Working with children Instructor-led training (training delivery method) Lesson planning Classroom Teaching Teaching Adult education Teaching instrumental performance Full Job Description We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Independent Contractor to provide high-quality guitar instruction to our established client base in Cedar Park, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who currently operates their own teaching business, is new to the area, or seeks to expand their portfolio under a supportive program.
Contract Details & Compensation Service Fee Range:
The rate is negotiable based on experience and client load, ranging from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour.
Contract Type:
Independent Contractor (1099)
Location:
All instruction must be conducted in-person at the client-specified studio facility in Cedar Park, TX 78613. (There may be exceptions on occasion).
Incentives:
The contractor is eligible for volume-based bonuses and referral fees.
Note:
No employee benefits (e.g., paid time off, health insurance) are provided. Key Responsibilities (Deliverables) The Contractor is responsible for meeting the educational needs of the students through the following core deliverables:
Instruction & Curriculum:
Design and execute customized, professional lesson plans for guitar students across all ages and skill levels (beginner through advanced). The Contractor maintains full control over methodology and materials used to achieve student goals.
Student Management & Communication:
Manage all student tracking, assessments, and professional parent/client communication exclusively through the Academy's portal. This ensures clear, regular progress reports are delivered to clients.
Performance Events:
Plan, organize, and execute mandatory student recitals and performance events held four times annually. This includes managing all musical and logistical preparation for student showcases.
What We Require Proven Expertise:
Demonstrated success in teaching guitar (acoustic, electric, and/or classical) to both children and adults. Enthusiastic new teachers willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
Autonomy:
The ability to operate independently, efficiently managing lesson preparation, materials, and internal administration related to service delivery.
Professional Standards:
Maintain excellent organizational skills and professional communication with clients and Academy administration via the provided portal.
Tools:
Must possess and utilize their own professional instruments, music, and necessary teaching aids for effective instruction. The Academy provides supplementary support and equipment to an extent.
