We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys inspiring students of all ages and skill levels while helping them develop confidence, creativity, strong musical foundations, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Our instructors create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can explore their musical abilities, improve their technique, and achieve their personal goals through high-quality music education. Responsibilities Provide engaging private piano and voice lessons for children, teens, and adults Create customized lesson plans based on each student's goals, skill level, and learning style Teach piano fundamentals including technique, sight-reading, rhythm, music theory, ear training, and musical expression Teach healthy vocal techniques including breathing, tone production, pitch accuracy, interpretation, and performance skills Introduce students to a variety of musical styles and appropriate repertoire Help students develop strong practice habits and confidence as musicians Prepare students for recitals, auditions, performances, and other musical opportunities Evaluate student progress and provide positive, constructive feedback Communicate professionally with students and families regarding progress and goals Collaborate with other instructors and participate in school events and performances Qualifications Strong background in piano, voice, performance, and/or music education Previous teaching experience with children, teens, or adults preferred Music degree or current enrollment in a music program preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered Ability to teach beginner through advanced students Knowledge of music theory, technique, repertoire, and effective teaching methods Ability to adapt lessons based on each student's learning style and goals Patient, positive, reliable, and passionate about helping students succeed Strong communication and organizational skills Schedule & Position Details Part-time teaching position Flexible teaching schedule Afternoon and evening availability preferred Supportive and professional teaching environment Opportunities to grow with an expanding music school Join the Institute of Musical Arts and become part of a passionate team dedicated to inspiring students through creativity, excellence, and the joy of music.
