TRAINING BEGINS MONDAY, AUGUST 10TH AND JOB GOES THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF JUNE.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion to teach a piano keyboard lab for our after school music program. Sistema Utah is partnered with American Preparatory Academy to offer music classes after school at Title I schools. Patterned after the El Sistema movement that originated in Venezuela, it is our hope to empower our students for social change. As our piano keyboard lab teacher you will be teaching groups of children in grades 2-6 group piano including activities to do together as a group as well as helping them as they work independently. The hours would be
M, T, F 3
15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and W, Th 2:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. We offer teacher training opportunities and coaching from some of the best teachers in the valley. Music degree is not required but a plus.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
College music degree and Suzuki Method teacher training is a plus, but not required. Join our team and bring the magic of music to our amazing students!
