Early Childhood Education: Preschool Music Instructors

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced early childhood teachers and/or music educators and private lesson instructors who: Love teaching and feel that working with young children is the best job ever. Love to learn new things, can apply them in the classroom, and aren't afraid to be silly! Enjoy Circle Time and Music & Movement—because these are the best parts of the day! This is a full-time position where you'll have the opportunity to teach and inspire young learners. We bring specialized age-appropriate music programs to over 4,000 students each week. As the fastest-growing music enrichment program in the country, our teachers unite in our vision of bringing music and its benefits to as many children as possible.

Position Details & Compensation:

Base Salary:

$3,500/month (salary) + $500/month (Mileage & Gas)

Total Monthly Compensation Potential:

$4,000•$7,000/month, including salary, mileage stipend, and performance-based bonuses.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday•Friday, No weekends!

Work 8-hour shifts (

Example:

8:45 AM•12:45 PM & 2:45 PM•6:45 PM)

Responsibilities Include:

teaching, traveling between school locations, training, administrative tasks, attendance upkeep, and parent communication

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (required). 1+ year of experience playing piano (required). Experience with other instruments (e.g., guitar, ukulele) is a plus. Ability to sing children's songs and learn new ones. Driver's License & Reliable Transportation—comfortable driving between 2-6 locations daily. Tech-savvy or willing to learn (Skype, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.). Must be located in or willing to relocate to the DMV area before starting work.
