Job Description
Duties (include but are not limited to)
- Demonstrate knowledge of subject(s) through instructional practices
- Guide the learning process toward the achievement of learning goals
- School Instrumental Ensembles Concert Band Marching Band Extracurricular Ensembles Jazz Band Modern Band
- Prepare student for District, All-State, and New England Festivals
- Use assessment information to provide students with feedback, which is corrective and informative
- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior conducive to an effective learning environment Maintain productive lines of communication with students, parents, and colleagues concerning both the academic and social progress of all studentsImplement administrative directives in a professional manner (re: new programs and policies
