At Joyful Academy of Music, we're not just teaching piano. We're building confidence, creativity, and life skills through music. We're looking for an engaging, positive, and growth-minded piano teacher who is excited to create a fun and encouraging learning environment for students, especially young beginners. We build strong relationships with our students and families and focus on helping each child grow not only as a musician, but as a confident individual. We are also highly performance based. Our students participate in regular Showcases where they gain confidence, develop stage presence, and build important life skills. These performances create meaningful goals and unforgettable experiences for students and their families. What You Will Do Teach engaging, high-quality piano lessons primarily to preschool and young students Create a fun, positive, and motivating lesson environment Use games and creative strategies to make learning enjoyable Prepare students for performances and help them feel confident on stage Build strong relationships with students and families Encourage confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music Who You Are Passionate about working with kids and making a difference in their lives Energetic, patient, and encouraging Reliable and professional Teachable, coachable, and excited to grow At Joyful Academy of Music, we care more about your personality, your ability to connect with students, and your heart to make an impact than we do about formal teaching credentials. You are either an experienced piano teacher or a strong musician who loves working with kids. If you are an excellent musician with experience working with children, we will gladly train you in our proven, game-based teaching approach. We are looking for teachers who truly care about their students and want to make a lasting impact through music. Compensation & Schedule Starting pay is $20 to $32 per hour, based on experience. Lessons are held Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 7:15 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We are especially excited to meet teachers who are available on Fridays and Saturdays, as these are high-demand days for our students. Teachers who are available during these times will have priority as we continue to grow and add more teaching opportunities.
