Piano Teacher — Kirkland, Redmond, Bothell & Sammamish

OVERVIEW

Melody Music Co-op is a growing music education business serving families across the Eastside. We're looking for piano teachers to join our team on a contract basis, teaching in-home lessons in the Kirkland, Redmond, Bothell, and Sammamish areas. We handle student matching, scheduling, and billing — so you can focus entirely on teaching. We are actively adding new students each month and will match you with students as your schedule fills, designing lesson routes to cluster students geographically to minimize your drive time between homes. This is a part-time position with room to grow. We add approximately 3-4 new students per month, so teachers can expect their schedule to grow steadily over time. Teachers who join ahead of our fall season (September-October) typically see the fastest growth, as this is our highest-enrollment period. We are happy to onboard new teachers within two weeks of a successful interview. Qualifications 5+ years of training in piano Prior teaching experience strongly preferred Reliable transportation between client homes in the Kirkland, Bothell, Redmond, and/or Sammamish areas Strong communication skills and punctuality Genuine enthusiasm for working with students of all ages and levels What We Provide A matched student roster — no cold outreach or client acquisition on your part All billing and payment collection handled by our team Scheduling coordination and ongoing HR support A collaborative team of fellow music educators Expectations Reliably teach assigned lessons per your agreed schedule Maintain regular communication with Melody Music Co-op HR on scheduling and student updates Attend occasional HR check-ins (2-4 hours/year, paid at $25/hr) Complete our paid onboarding process (length varies by experience)
