All parish and school employees and volunteers commit themselves to the following principles: To respect the dignity of each person as made in God's image and likeness; To maintain standards of profession & personal conduct which reflect the values, principles and teachings of the Catholic Church; To contribute by personal example to a Christian work environment; To support the mission of the Roman Catholic Church, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Stockton and the Catholic Schools Office. Job Summary Job Summary The Theology Teacher is responsible for fostering students' spiritual, moral, and intellectual growth through the teaching of Catholic theology, Sacred Scripture, Church doctrine, and ethics. This position inspires students to deepen their relationship with God while promoting critical thinking, respectful dialogue, and a commitment to living the values of the Gospel. The Theology Teacher creates a faith-filled classroom environment that supports academic excellence, discipleship, and the mission of Catholic education. At Central Catholic High School the ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church, integrates faith into daily instruction, collaborates with campus ministry and school staff, and serves as a positive role model for students through both word and example.
