Primary Purpose:
Primary Purpose:
Provides general assistance in implementing arts programming that is attentive to the students' academic, social, and emotional needs as well as providing support to the Academy of Arts and all extracurricular and co-curricular activities in the arts program. (12- month position).Essential Job Functions:
Responds to parent contacts, regarding theatrical productions, activities and events in the Arts, and Academy of Arts programming. Assigns coverage for absent instructors in the Arts program, including all extra-curricular events. Assists in the development and implementation of the master AutoNation Center for the Arts calendar and helps plan/supervise all arts programs including Academy of Arts, performances, productions, visual arts galleries, and school events. Coordinates and assists Arts faculty in the development of personal strategies for addressing behavioral issues, and be responsible for special discipline needs as related to field trips and all extra-curricular activities etc. Participates in interviews with prospective faculty members and Academy of Arts instructors and employees. Plans, attends, runs, and/or supervises Arts related activities and events. Plans day and overnight field trips with Arts faculty and coaches and chaperones field trips. Serves as liaison to Physical Plant to ensure proper maintenance of the Arts building's interior and exterior. Assists, as needed, by providing families with resources to enhance the college application process for students in the Arts. Attends staff meetings and serves on committees, as required. Performs other duties as assigned or required.Required Education:
Master's Degree Required Experience:
