Childrens Ministry Director

The Way Church is in Panama City Beach, and we're looking for a part-time Children's Ministry Director to help us disciple the next generation. If you love kids, love the gospel, and want to build something with eternal impact in a young, mission-minded church, we'd love to talk.

The Role:

The Children's Ministry Director reports to the Lead Pastor, designs and leads gospel-centered discipleship for our kids (newborn-5th grade), and partners with our families. You'll shape the environment, build the volunteer team, and create a safe, welcoming place where we come alongside our parents to disciple their for the Lord. What You'll Do Lead and facilitate a gospel-centered curriculum that aligns with the church's teaching calendar Recruit, train, disciple, and schedule a team of children's ministry volunteers Oversee weekly services, nursery, check-in/check-out, and child safety procedures Plan a children & family calendar, including a quarterly service or fellowship event Partner with parents through periodic equipping meetings and everyday connection Manage logistics through Planning Center, plus budget and resource stewardship Who We're Looking For A follower of Jesus with a heart for children and families Affirms the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 Prior children's or family ministry experience preferred (paid or volunteer) Strong administrative and organizational skills; comfortable learning Planning Center A natural recruiter and encourager who can build and lead a volunteer team Willing to actively participate in and become a member of The Way Church Must pass a background check (required for all who serve with children) The Details Part-time, approximately [10-12] hours/week
