Aug 27, 2026 Job Description Saint Michael School, a thriving Catholic school in North Andover, is seeking a full time Nursery School (3 year old) teacher for the 20026-2027 school year. Ideal Candidates should hold a Master's Degree, a Massachusetts teaching license and should have at least one year of teaching experience. Successful teachers will have the following characteristics:
  • Love of teaching, a collaborative spirit, and an understanding of Catholic education
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of effective and innovative instructional and student evaluation techniques
  • Knowledge of instructional technology and the ability to integrate it into the curriculum
  • Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff and the general public
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
  • A passion for teaching and learning
  • The ability to develop meaningful relationships with students
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong classroom management
  • Belief that ALL students can achieve excellence
  • Experience in classroom management techniques.
  • Knowledge of toddler care practices and early intervention strategies
