With a close-knit community of approximately 100 students, we pride ourselves on knowing each student personally and fostering an environment where young people grow in faith, character, and intellect. St. Mary's High School seeks a passionate and dedicated Theology Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith, think critically about theological and moral issues, and live out Gospel values in their daily lives.

Responsibilities:

Teach Theology courses at the high school level (Grades 9-12), including Scripture, Church History, Sacraments, and Morality Develop and implement engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans rooted in Catholic teaching Foster a classroom environment that encourages faith formation, discussion, and critical thinking Integrate prayer, Scripture, and Catholic tradition into daily instruction Support the spiritual life of the school, including participation in Masses, retreats, and service initiatives Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student success and school mission Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church Strong knowledge of Catholic teachings, Scripture, and tradition Teaching experience at the high school level preferred Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills Commitment to Catholic education and student formation Why Join St. Mary's?
