$1,270 per 1 credit with upward adjustment for years of service at Marist University. Pay may vary depending on credits pertaining to online, graduate, music, or lab courses.Job Summary:
The Philosophy Department at Marist University invites applications for Part-Time Faculty for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. We have immediate teaching opportunities for our Philosophical Perspectives intro course.Minimum Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in Philosophy or a closely related field is required Previous successful collegiate teaching experience neededEssential Functions:
Successful candidates may teach three to nine semester credit hours each semester. Teaching may occur during both the fall and spring semesters. Teaching assignments are for in-person classes held at the Marist campus in Poughkeepsie, New York.Preferred Qualifications:

The Philosophy and Religious Studies Department offers majors in Philosophy and Religious Studies as well as minors in each area.
