The English Language Teaching (ELT) Division is a global leader in the provision of multimedia English language teaching, learning, and assessment materials. Operating globally, it reaches millions of teachers and students each year to support the development of English language proficiency. About the role As our new Educational Consultant for Prague, you will be responsible for the adoption of products and services to achieve individual promotion targets. You will also support the publishing and marketing teams with relevant customer, competitor, and market feedback. Your role will involve generating interest by visiting key decision-makers and holding meetings in educational institutions within the region. Additionally, you will attend events and conferences to promote specified lists and solutions. You will manage the distribution of samples effectively and ensure the availability of OUP products. To maximize the effective use of time and budget, you will control expenditures and plan school visits accordingly. To fully leverage all promotional opportunities, you must be willing to develop and demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and perform relevant administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of promotional activities. About you We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a proven track record in promotional activities, who has experience in meeting and exceeding targets. Ideally, you will have experience in the education market.
Key qualifications and skills include:
A university degree in English Language (Teaching, Literature, Translation, etc.) is preferred. Excellent written and oral skills in Czech and English (minimum B2 level). Ability to create and deliver presentations to diverse audiences. Ability to build and maintain customer relationships using a consultative approach. Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A positive approach to change, with flexibility and adaptability. Proficiency with technology. Full driving license. Additionally, you will have strong presentation and training skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
