: The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes. Minimum Qualifications Associate of Applied Science ( AAS ) degree in Culinary Arts, Baking/Pastry, Hospitality Management or equivalent from an accredited school. Three (3) years experience in the field. Current ServSafe Manager or Texas Certified Food Manager certification for lab instructors required to instruct Culinary and/or Baking/Pastry courses.- Some courses require three (3) years supervisory experience in the hospitality field.

Job Duty Ability to plan course instruction including lesson plans based upon approved syllabus/outline provided to ensure course content and objectives are met. Job Duty Ability to use variety of teaching styles, methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles of students to achieve their educational goals and course outcomes.
