Teacher - Physical Education (Rover 0.9 / 0.1 Holdeman)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide a quality physical education program that motivates students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed for a lifetime of physical activity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor Degree Arizona Elementary or Secondary Teacher certification with Physical Education K-12 endorsement (required)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Teach the district-approved physical education program to assigned students. Coordinate public relations efforts; demonstrate and interpret the physical education program to the community. Work with the school and district administrators overseeing the physical education program. Maintain professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the district and/or self-selected professional growth activities. Create a positive environment for learning through effective classroom management and sound teaching techniques. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and personalize instruction whenever possible. Maintain accurate grades and records for compliance with district federal and state guidelines. Communicate with parents through conference and other means to discuss pupil progress and interpret the district physical education program. Maintain a learning environment that enables students to learn skills and safely participate in activities. Actively participate in meaningful role modeling and lesson activities.
