PE Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year

La Paloma Academy is looking to hire a new PE Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year at our South campus at 5660 S. 12th Avenue in Tucson. La Paloma Academy South is a charter school. MINIMUM TEACHING REQUIREMENTS

(Please do not apply if you do not meet ALL minimum requirements): K-8 teaching certificate (from any state) OR Highly Qualified as defined by the state of Arizona SEI requirements: Proof of 90 credit hours required for SEI Endorsement Bachelor's degree Strong communication skills Self-directed personality traits Courteous and professional demeanor and dress Able to work 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday Ability to operate computers, classroom technology, and computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, copiers, and cell phone functions such as text, email, etc.) All prospective employees will also have to undergo a background check and will need to have a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card.
