What We're Looking For We seek a Junior High PE Teacher who is passionate about physical education, health, and the holistic development of adolescents. You will inspire students to build lifelong habits of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship while reinforcing the values of respect and perseverance.

Effectively plan lessons, manage equipment, and create a safe, structured learning environment. Job Duties Include Designing, planning, and implementing engaging PE lessons for grades 6-8. Teaching and reinforcing concepts of health, fitness, and wellness. Promoting teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship through structured activities and games. Managing and maintaining a safe and inclusive gymnasium and outdoor field environment. Assessing student participation and performance using both formal and informal assessments. Tracking and maintaining accurate classroom attendance. Actively participating in team collaboration, staff meetings, and professional development activities. Supporting the school community by assisting with events, athletics, and after-school activities when needed. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree (Physical Education, Kinesiology, or related field preferred). Classroom or coaching experience preferred but not required. A strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration. A passion for innovative problem-solving and creative instruction. AZDPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
