University Interns welcome. James Jordan Middle School is a well-established independent charter school in Reseda, CA. In 2025, US News and World Report named JJMS to the list of Best Schools in California. Our 450 students come mostly from low-income homes. All of our students and staff uphold the highest standards of mutual respect and integrity. Our beautiful campus has a field, track, and indoor space for climate-controlled physical activities. We are seeking a PE instructor who can provide a wide range of activities beyond traditional team sports, such as soccer or volleyball. We want our PE instructors to teach Health Education lessons on nutrition, biology, anatomy, and related topics to promote smart health choices for life. We also want activities that are likely to be lifelong fitness choices, such as yoga, Pilates, hand weights, Zumba, frisbee, etc. The program is in the early stages of development, and we are looking for a partner to collaborate on creating the activities.
