Job Description

Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Physical Education Teacher to join our school community. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging environment that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle habits among students.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons Teach fundamental movement skills, fitness concepts, and sports activities Encourage student participation, teamwork, and good sportsmanship Maintain a safe and organized learning environment Supervise students during PE activities and ensure adherence to safety procedures Assess student progress and provide feedback and grades as appropriate Collaborate with school staff to support student success This is a part-time position of approximately 15 hours per week. Requirements High School Diploma Is VIRTUS trained Fingerprinted through the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Experience teaching or coaching children preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to motivate and engage students of varying skill levels Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor CPR/First Aid certification preferred Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
