FTE Qualifications:

State of Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL) with Senior HS endorsements in physical education and health. Willingness to work cooperatively with other teachers in the physical education and health departments to develop new course work and to support existing programs. EL preferred. Ability to teach courses at various academic levels. Must have excellent teaching skills with the ability to work in a variety of learning environments. Excellent communication skills. Willingness to support building co-curricular activities such as a theatre director, coach, or sponsor. Commitment to working with an interdisciplinary or integrated team: designing, implementing, and refining curriculum. Proficiency in the use of instructional and multimedia technologies. Candidate should be an active member in professional organizations related to physical education and health content area.
