Teach Physical Education :
Deliver engaging physical education classes for students in grades 6-12
Utilize High-Quality Curriculum :
Implement the Focused Fitness curriculum and use standards-based lesson planning to guide instruction
Promote Participation and Growth :
Offer equal opportunities for all students to grow through a variety of physical activities, including team sports, personal fitness, and individual movement
Ensure Safety and Positive Environment :
Teach safe and effective techniques, fostering a respectful and positive classroom environment
Develop Social Skills :
Integrate teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship alongside physical education goals Set Goals for
Success :
Develop short- and long-term goals for students based on their needs and program evaluations
Track Student Progress :
Maintain lesson plans, gradebooks, and regular assessments to monitor student growth and achievement
Manage Resources :
Organize and maintain sports equipment, ensuring safety and accessibility
Integrate Technology :
Use basic technology tools to enhance instruction and monitor student progress Who You Are We're looking for someone who:

You're highly organized, energetic, and driven to help students achieve their potential Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or equivalent (36 credit hours or passing score on Praxis 5091 exam) First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Basic understanding of technology tools to support instruction 2-5 years of physical education teaching experience preferred Why Victory Preparatory Academy?
