Immediately Job Description The Physical Education Teacher designs and facilitates a developmentally appropriate physical education program that uses play, movement, cooperative games, and community-building circles to foster physical wellness, social-emotional growth, collaboration, inclusivity, and positive relationships among students. The teacher creates a safe, welcoming environment where all students feel valued, connected, and empowered to participate, regardless of ability, background, or experience level. Key Responsibilities Instruction and Program Design Develop and implement engaging physical education lessons that promote movement, fitness, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits. Utilize cooperative games, structured play, and partner/group activities to strengthen communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Incorporate restorative and community-building circles to foster belonging, empathy, reflection, and conflict resolution. Design lessons that prioritize participation, effort, growth, and teamwork alongside skill development. Adapt activities to ensure equitable access and meaningful participation for all students, including students with disabilities and diverse learning needs.
