Saint Anna Catholic School, Leominster MA is looking for a part-time (15 hours per week) Physical Education teacher for grades Preschool through 8th. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Curriculum Development:
Designing, planning, and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with school and diocesan standards.
Instruction:
Teaching sports, techniques, motor skills and fitness exercises.
Safety & Management:
Supervising gymnasium and playground to ensure a safe environment.
Student Assessment:
Evaluating student performance and progress in physical abilities conduct, effort, and health knowledge.
Promotion of Health:
Educating students on nutrition, personal wellness, and the benefits of regular physical activity.
Equipment Care:
Maintaining, setting up, and inventorying sports equipment and facilities.
Minimum requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's in education, sports management, or related field experience working with students in camps, child care, or coaching Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills ability to motivate students and manage large groups CPR and first aid certification
