Immediately Job DescriptionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:- Plan and implement the physical education & health curriculum for grades 9-12
- Evaluate individual students using department-developed common assessment tools, maintain up-to-date records of student progress
- Collaborate with members of the PreK-12 Physical Education & Health department to review, develop and execute a rigorous district curriculum aligned to state standards
- Create a positive, inviting, and safe learning environment while modeling enthusiasm for learning
- Develop, model, and practice class procedures and routines
- Modify instructional practices to meet individual student needs
- Communicate high expectations to all learners, as well as realistic and consistent expectations for student behavior and applies appropriate consequences
- Other duties as assigned by building administrators
