We are seeking an excellence-oriented K-8 Physical Education Teacher to develop a lifelong appreciation for hard work, teamwork, physical activity, and health. In this dynamic role, you will design engaging, age-appropriate PE curricula that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. You will foster a positive classroom environment that encourages students to improve their fitness levels and develop essential motor skills. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help students build confidence, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle while supporting their overall personal development. Duties Implement a comprehensive physical education program aligned with educational standards Plan and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate movement activities, sports, and fitness exercises to promote physical abilities. Maintain a safe environment at all times, and properly communicate and manage any injuries within established procedures. Manage classroom behavior effectively using proven classroom management techniques to create a safe and inclusive environment for all students Track student progress, assign activities, and communicate with parents and staff Assess student performance regularly; provide constructive feedback to support individual growth Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, academic advising, and school-wide initiatives aimed at fostering healthy lifestyles among students
