Job Description:

Springfield Local Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to engage in physical activities, promote healthy lifestyles, and develop motor skills through a variety of sports and fitness programs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging PE curriculum following Ohio standards. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote student health and wellness. Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe learning environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field. Valid Ohio teaching license in Physical Education. Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students. Salary and benefits are per the collective bargaining agreement. We anticipate interviews to be held on March 16, 2026.
