Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic TSPC-licensed Physical Education Teacher to inspire young learners and ignite their interest in personal health and fitness. This position offers an exciting opportunity to design engaging lessons and contribute to a vibrant school community committed to academic excellence and personal growth. Responsibilities Implement comprehensive physical education curricula aligned with educational standards (primarily direct physical education instruction/classroom teachers may teach a portion of health curriculum) Deliver engaging lessons Manage classroom environments effectively to foster positive behavior, collaboration, and curiosity among students Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth Qualifications Required Valid Oregon teaching license with physical education endorsement Knowledge of adolescent development and middle school practices Preferred Experience teaching k-8th grade students Fluency in French (not required, but preferred) Other Duties Supervise students during assigned duties (e.g., lunch, recess, hallway) Support school-wide initiatives and events Perform additional duties as assigned by administration Role reports to Principal.
