Aug 11, 2026 Job Description Founders Academy at Beacon Charter Schools seeks a full-time special educator, with a valid RI Special Education certificate, to join our dedicated and passionate teaching faculty. Alternate routes to certification are available (emergency certification, credential review, expert residency), especially for teachers with an existing Rhode Island teaching certification in a different certificate area. Special Educators at Founders/Beacon enjoy low caseloads and supportive daily schedules, leveraging successful, evidence-based intervention programs. Founders Academy is located in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and serves 168 student artists from across the state. We are looking for educators with: strong, standards-based lesson planning and development skills; student-centered approach; and commitment to being a participating team member.
