This exciting role allows you to combine your passion for teaching, sports, and physical activity with the convenience of delivering personalized swim instruction in a comfortable, familiar environment. You will inspire confidence, promote healthy habits, and help learners of all ages develop essential swimming skills through engaging, tailored lessons. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact while enjoying flexible scheduling and the chance to work with diverse students. Responsibilities Conduct one-on-one or small group swim lessons in students' homes, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Develop customized lesson plans that align with each student's skill level, goals, and learning style. Demonstrate proper swimming techniques, water safety protocols, and physical exercises to enhance skills and confidence. Monitor student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Manage behavior effectively by employing positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies. Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding lesson objectives, progress updates, and safety considerations. Ensure all equipment used during lessons is safe, clean, and properly maintained. Skills Experience as a Lifeguard or in water safety roles with strong swimming skills. Background in sports coaching or teaching physical education. Prior experience working with children in childcare settings or educational environments. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere. Ability to adapt teaching methods for different age groups and skill levels. Excellent communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with parents effectively.
