Job Overview:
Brown County Christian School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our faculty for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate will be a spiritually grounded Christian educator who is enthusiastic about teaching, building strong relationships with students, and integrating a biblical worldview into all aspects of instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in the following subject areas: Fine Art (art, choir, or theater), Physical Education, Spanish I (preferred, but not required) Create a classroom culture of respect, excellence, and Christ-like character Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students Integrate biblical principles and Christian values into daily instruction and classroom interactions Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress, attendance, and behavior Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administration Participate in faculty meetings, school functions, professional development, and spiritual enrichment opportunities Integrate prayer, scripture, and Christian values into daily instruction and classroom activities Maintain classroom management strategies that align with the school's values and expectations Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities Uphold and model the mission, vision, and values of Brown County Christian School
