05/18/2026 Hidden Valley Middle School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to foster a lifelong love of physical activity and wellness in our students. The ideal candidate will design and implement engaging lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and personal growth, while ensuring an inclusive and safe environment for all learners. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering standards-based PE lessons for grades 7-9, teaching a variety of sports and wellness units, and fostering sportsmanship and leadership. You will adapt activities to meet diverse student needs, monitor progress, and maintain a safe, organized learning environment. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field, possess a valid state teaching certification, and demonstrate strong classroom management skills. Experience with middle school students is preferred, along with CPR and First Aid certification.

STATE RETIREMENT

Benefit eligible employees are automatically members of the Utah Retirement Systems (URS). This means that the District contributes into the URS plan on your behalf each month. After the URS vesting period of four years, you will have either the Hybrid option, which is a combination of a pension with a 401k plan, or the 401k option if you choose.
