Francis de Sales Parish School is seeking a positive, energetic, and faith-filled part-time Physical Education Teacher to join our school community for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will foster a love for physical activity, promote healthy lifestyles, and support the spiritual, emotional, and physical development of students in a Christ-centered environment. This position works with students in grades 4K through 8th grade and collaborates closely with faculty, staff, and families to support the mission of Catholic education. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons aligned with age-appropriate standards Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, physical fitness, and healthy habits Maintain a safe and structured learning environment Organize and supervise indoor and outdoor physical activities Communicate effectively with parents and school staff Collaborate positively with faculty, staff, and families Integrate Catholic values and character development into daily interactions Assist with school wellness initiatives and special events as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field preferred, or currently working toward obtaining a Bachelor's degree Wisconsin teaching license (or ability to obtain licensure) preferred Experience working with elementary and middle school students Strong classroom management and communication skills Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education Application Process Interested candidates should submit the following: Cover letter Resume Teaching license (if applicable) Three professional references Transcripts Applications may be emailed to the school office.
