N/A Adjunct Faculty•Radiologic Technology•Fall 2026 River Valley Community College is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach courses in Radiologic Technology in our Allied Health Department. Please note, at the time of hire, we require that all applicants provide official college transcripts. CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state.
Adjunct Compensation:
$825•$975 per credit. The credit rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience. This course covers the study
Principles of Radiation Exposure and Image Production Course Description:
This course comprises the study of all concepts associated with the nature, production and exposure of x-rays, image acquisition and processing. It will present CR/DR image acquisition, DICOM standards will be discussed. PACS system of storage and transfer will be presented. Manipulation of various exposure factors and choices of equipment uses will be explored. The student will develop knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and evaluate quantitative factors in clinical radiographs. Education:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with major study in radiologic technology, physics, or a related field.
Experience:
Two years of industry experience as a radiologic technologist or medical physicist; or related teaching experience in the field.
OR Education:
Master's degree from a recognized college or university with major study in radiologic technology, physics, or a related field.
Experience:
Two years of industry experience as a radiologic technologist or medical physicist; or related teaching experience in the field.
Required License/Registration:
Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Adjunct Compensation:
Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
