Before and After School Site Director/Early Learning Professional

As an AlphaBEST Site Director , you'll lead a meaningful after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking for an early learning professional who: Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment Feels confident taking the lead and running a smooth program Takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed In this role, you will: Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards Make child safety the top priority at all times Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

Requirements:

CPR and First Aid certification required (can be obtained within first 30 days of employment) Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds) Must be 21 years of age according to licensing regulations. Site Directors must meet 1 of the following requirements: a. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university. (Determination of "related field" shall be made by the Division); b. Bachelor's Degree in a non-related field from a regionally accredited college or university, plus one (1) of the following: Four (4) years of experience in early childhood education; Child Development Associate Credential (CDA); or Birth - Pre-K Credential. c. Associate degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field, plus six (6) years of experience in Early Childhood Education; or d. Eight (8) years of experience in Early Childhood Education and completion of one (1) of the following, within two (2) years of employment: Child Development Associate Credential; Birth - Pre-K Credential; Director's Credential or the equivalent; or Technical Certificate in Early Childhood Education.
