Job Description

Job Summary We are one of the Premier-league Preschool and Daycare providing children with a safe space where they can grow and learn, develop their skills, and have fun at the same time. We prepare children for the next steps to higher education, and we are looking for someone to join our growing team. The Director position requires at least 3 years' experience working in a Child Care Center in an administration role. Must have required education (AA or BA Degree in child development, and permit desired) required trainings, CPR and first aid, immunization, and finger printing requirements. The Director must have knowledge of CCL Title 22 regulations, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and/or sit for extended periods of time on the floor or low chairs. Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the
Regional Manager:
The Director responsible for managing the overall day to day operations of the Center. Must be able to proficiently schedule the staff to meet the demand of the Center. Must implement the predetermined Center Operations Manuel and offer improvements and suggestions. The Director is responsible for implementing the Centers emergency preparedness and safety expectations. The Director is responsible for overseeing training and quality improvement. Acts as a liaison for our quality improvement partners, Licensing and other agencies partnerships. May oversee the Center Nutrition Program and administration such as payroll. The Director is responsible for hiring of the Center staff alongside the Reginal Manager. Must be able to step in for any absent Teacher in any of the programs if needed. Supervise, train staff and other duties as assigned. Provide a developmentally appropriate environment to foster learning and growth. Support teaching staff on developing lessons plans implementing The Creative Curriculum--our chosen curriculum. Help Create a fun and interactive learning experiences for the children and staff. Ensure the daily care of every child--following all licensing guidelines and our company standards. Must have excellent customer service skills, organizational and planning skills and the ability to multi-task. Must love caring for and educating young children.
