This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside teachers and families that have been a part of our school for years. Our school is looking for leader that will join in what God is already doing at OTDS. Responsibilities Oversee innovative curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and promote holistic development Supervise teaching staff and support personnel, providing mentorship, and professional development opportunities Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, parent meetings, and community events Lead fundraising efforts to secure additional resources for program enhancements and special projects Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and educational policies at all times Experience Proven experience in education administration or leadership roles within early childhood or preschool settings Extensive classroom teaching experience working directly with young children in a preschool environment Demonstrated success in curriculum development tailored for early learners Strong management skills with experience supervising staff and coordinating team efforts Excellent public speaking abilities to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and teachers. Knowledge of fundraising and planning school events. Oversee daily preschool operations in accordance with CA Title regulations. Communication & Community Foster strong, positive communication with parents, staff, and students. Conduct tours for prospective families and manage enrollment processes. Assist with the monthly school newsletter. Assist with marketing efforts to help promote the school's mission and programs. Christian Leadership Demonstrate a personal walk with Jesus and model Christ-like character in daily interactions. Support the spiritual development of students and staff through Christian principles and values. Qualifications Minimum 12 Child Development units and 6 ECE Administration units (required). College degree preferred. Experience as a preschool director or in a similar leadership role. Thorough knowledge of CA Title 22 & Title 5 regulations. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. CPR/First Aid certified (current). Mandated Reporter certified. Commitment to Christian education and ability to reflect the love of Christ in words and actions. Preferred Skills Experience with marketing, newsletters, or family engagement. Ability to build strong relationships with families and staff. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
