We are a well-established, academically oriented preschool with a focus on routines, consistency, and a child-centered, nature-inspired curriculum. Role Overview This is not a desk-only position. The Director is actively involved in daily operations, ensuring classrooms run smoothly, staff are supported, and expectations are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations and classroom flow Monitor ratios, staffing, and coverage Support teachers with supervision and problem-solving Ensure compliance with licensing (Title 22) Communicate with families professionally and promptly Ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time Maintain organization, cleanliness, and school standards Step into classrooms as needed Requirements Director or Assistant Director experience in a licensed childcare center required 3-5+ years in a preschool/childcare setting Strong understanding of operations, staffing, and licensing Proven ability to manage staff and ensure follow-through What We're Looking For Strong initiative and attention to detail Ability to anticipate needs and take ownership Confident, consistent leadership with staff and families Highly organized and reliable Important This role requires a high level of independence, initiative, and follow-through.
