This position combines center-wide leadership with hands-on teaching for our youngest learners (12-24 months) in a small, nurturing program. Position Overview Reporting to the Executive Director, you will provide day-to-day operational leadership for the center while directly supporting and teaching in our Infant-Toddler program. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who is equally gifted in leadership and in caring for very young children. Key Responsibilities Center Leadership Open and close the center daily (8:00 AM-5:00 PM) Oversee daily staffing, child-to-teacher ratios, enrollment, and licensing compliance Supervise, coach, and evaluate teaching staff Serve as Director-in-Charge in the Executive Director's absence Maintain a safe, healthy, and faith-based environment Infant-Toddler Program (12-24 months) Lead and teach within the Infant-Toddler classroom, stepping into ratio as needed Plan and implement play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication and regular conferences Qualifications Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (Bachelor's preferred) Minimum 36 ECE units, including 6 units in administration 2+ years of experience in an Assistant Director or equivalent leadership role Infant/Toddler teaching experience required Current Pediatric CPR/AED, First Aid, and Health & Safety certifications Site Supervisor or Program Director Permit (preferred) Must be an active, practicing Christian About You You have a deep love for infants and young children, a gift for leading and supporting a team, and a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ.
