Full Job Description Position Overview:
The Co-Site Director plays a key leadership role in overseeing all aspects of the camp location's extended day program. This position is responsible for ensuring a safe, organized, and engaging environment for campers before and after core camp hours, while supporting overall site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the extended day program (before and after camp care) Assist with lunch supervision and coordination Plan and organize structured recess and outdoor activities Execute and manage outdoor programming components Monitor camper safety, behavior, and engagement at all times Support smooth transitions between camp sessions and extended care Collaborate with Site Director and staff to maintain consistent program quality Communicate effectively with parents and guardians as needed Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Experience working with children in a camp, school, or childcare setting Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage groups of children in both structured and unstructured settings High level of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
Schedule:
Morning and afternoon extended care hours (before and after standard camp schedule) Seasonal availability preferred (summer and/or school break programs)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience
