Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Center Director to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our center. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education administration and a passion for fostering a nurturing environment for children. This role requires effective leadership skills, the ability to manage staff, and a commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences for our students. Duties Oversee the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements. Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children. Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, and the community to promote a collaborative environment. Monitor student progress and implement strategies to enhance learning outcomes. Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and record-keeping. Conduct regular assessments of programs and staff performance to ensure quality standards are met. Requirements A degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field is preferred. VPK Directors Credential. Proven experience in education administration with a focus on child development. Strong teaching background with experience working directly with students. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with parents, staff, and community members. Ability to create a positive learning environment that fosters growth and development for all children in care.
