AcademyDirector Job Summary:

Kiddie Academy of Longwood-Lake Mary has an exciting leadership opportunity for an energetic, organized and inspiring professional to join us as our Director. This position allows you to lead a team of qualified teachers and administrative staff in providing the best learning and development experience for children and their families. You'll have the opportunity to combine your ECE experience with business management skills to influence the operations of the Academy. If you're motivated by smiles and laughs from children and praise from parents, this could be the job for you.

Job Responsibilities:

Effectively operates and manages all aspects of a child care facility, to include enrollment building, family retention, human resources, marketing and quality assurance. Trains and develops the teaching staff to provide creative, age-appropriate programs to all children served at the academy. Actively develops and maintains positive customer/community relations. Maintains high capacity utilization and manages all resources effectively and within budget. Establishes strong working relationships with state licensing authorities.

Pay Rate:

From $50,000.00 per year

Qualifications:

Florida's Director Credential-VPK endorsement required; Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Minimum 2 Years previous experience as the Director of a licensed childcare facility Strong knowledge and experience working with early childhood national and state accrediting agencies; experience working in a NAEYC accredited center a plus Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Proficient computer and desktop publishing skills, including but not limited to
