We are looking for a Preschool Director that is: Energetic and leads teams through positive attitude, effective training, and by doing what is needed to set an example for everyone 3+ years of experience in a Director role, with demonstration of success running a busy, high-quality program Able to clearly communicate how to achieve a mission of success to staff Able to ensure safe, sanitary, organized consistent, and high-quality child care by adhering to and teaching best practices to all staff Able to motivate parents and teachers to partner effectively for exceptional development of our enrolled kids Committed to ensuring day to day business operations are maintained by: maintaining enrollment at high levels, ensuring accurate billing, record-keeping and collections Experienced with
ELC, USDA
Food Program, and other key programs The teaching staff and assistant director reports to the director. The director ensures compliance with governing bodies, staffing, maintenance needs, up-to-date class curriculum, and the handling of school tours. Able to have fun with teachers, parents and students alike. Duties and responsibilities The daily duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversee processesing of weekly billings for tuition and fees; Accurately collect cash, Monthly Subsidies and card transactions Operate the school within the annual budget Make Deposits to the bank in a timely manner during the week Ensure staffing and scheduling needs are met daily Oversee the maintenance of children/staff/ parent files, and prepare/deliver monthly documentation (ex. ELC attendance, VPK attendance, Food Program, Head Start, etc.) Ensure the highest levels of compliance with all governing bodies in preparation for site inspections Responsible for leading monthly fire drills and yearly emergency preparedness drills Deliver monthly reports of the overall health of the school from an operations standpoint Oversee the monitoring of supplies and materials quantity for replenishment Responsible for any incidents that happen on school property, review video monitoring when required and escalate accordingly to take the best course of action for the safety of the children, staff, and the school overall. Responsible for scheduling and leading monthly staff meetings, and managing morale-building programs for staff and parents. Oversee the successful conversion of tours for prospective parents into enrollments including follow-up calls/emails/texts through registration and on-boarding Complete reviews of staff and complete parent/staff survey either semi-annually or annually Requirements Active FL Preschool Director License Active FL VPK Preschool Director Credential Experience as preschool director Ability to lift 10-25 pounds regularly Ability to respond to stressful situations in a calm manner, be proactive and lead to resolution
