Inspire Excellence. Kiddie Academy of Hunters Creek is seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Administrator to join our leadership team. Our academy is committed to providing exceptional early childhood education and has earned recognition through NAEYC, Gold Seal Quality Care, and APPLE accreditation programs. We are looking for a strong leader who shares our commitment to educational excellence, regulatory compliance, staff development, and outstanding family experiences. As a Preschool Administrator, you will oversee daily operations, support educational programming, mentor teachers, ensure compliance with state regulations, and help create a positive and engaging environment for children, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the preschool and childcare center Ensure compliance with all Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) licensing requirements and company policies Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and mentor teaching staff Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching to support high-quality instruction Monitor curriculum implementation and ensure developmentally appropriate practices are followed Maintain accurate child, staff, and licensing records Foster strong relationships with families through exceptional communication and customer service Assist with enrollment growth, tours, and community outreach initiatives Manage staff schedules, classroom ratios, and daily operational needs Ensure a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for children and employees Support academy leadership in achieving enrollment, retention, and quality goals Address parent concerns professionally and collaboratively Promote a positive culture focused on teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or early childhood education program Florida Director Credential required or ability to obtain within an approved timeframe Strong knowledge of Florida childcare licensing standards and compliance requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Experience supervising and developing educators and support staff Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and childcare management software preferred Current CPR and First Aid Certification preferred Successful completion of all required background screenings and state-mandated training What We Offer Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience Paid time off and holiday benefits Professional development and leadership growth opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Childcare tuition discounts (where applicable) Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children, families, and educators every day Why Join Kiddie Academy of Hunters Creek?
