This is a unique opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional who is passionate about education and wants a part-time leadership role for 3-5 mornings per week. For a candidate with gymnastics or dance experience, additional hours may be available, if preferred.
Responsibilities:
Teach and lead a new preschool prep program for children ages 3-4 Assist with obtaining and maintaining all required licensing and regulatory compliance for our preschool prep program Serve as the designated licensed director for the program Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable state and local requirements Help develop and oversee age-appropriate curriculum and classroom procedures Communicate with families regarding student progress and program activities Lead or assist with program operations as needed
Qualifications:
Must meet Florida requirements to serve as a licensed Child Care Facility Director Experience teaching in a preschool, daycare, VPK, or early childhood education setting Experience managing a preschool, daycare, or early childhood education program preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Passion for working with young children and supporting their development
